Hometown: Born and raised in sac town!
Favorite Sac-town hangout? Leatherby’s Family Creamery. So many fun memories going there with my family after dance recitals!
Favorite Quote: “We need more different people in this world. Same is lame.” -Pharrell
What is one goal that you’re currently working on? Finding a good balance between repping fun entertainment for the Sacramento Kings, cooking green eggs and ham with my Kindergarteners, and spinning my way into TEAMriders’ hearts!
What do you want to be when you grow up? I am grown. Love my life!
Three things you can’t live without: Music, lipstick (any color, really), and game nights with my family!
Beach, mountains, or big city, and why? I’d have to say big city. Big city=big dance floors.
Favorite guilty pleasure: Any reason to dress up in costume. I have an entire closet full and ready to go at a moment’s notice. Just waiting for an invite!
Describe the music in your class: A mix between spicy, fun and intense… depends on the mood! But anything to go with the disco light… I’m ALWAYS in the mood for that!
If you could meet three people dead or alive, who would it be? I love to be surrounded by fierce women so; Michelle Obama, Malala Yousafzai and Jennifer Lopez. I’d invite them all over for dinner and thank Michelle for making school lunches healthy, Malala for empowering women to fight for their rights to education, and JLO for her badass dance moves.
Who has influenced you the most? My family – they’re really supportive of everything I do and you can usually find AT LEAST one of them in my classes. It’s a family affair! You’ll hear them woo-hooing and requesting songs!
What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their life? TRAVEL TO JAPAN. Was the greatest experience with the best food, so many sites to see, and dance floors to crush!
Who are your top 3 musical artists of all time? I really can’t narrow down my top 3 but I am Pitbull’s #1 fan, so feel free to call me Mrs. Worldwide.
Pick a Brad: Pitt, Cooper or Paisley? None of the above? But I guess I’d have to go with Brad Pitt since he was married to Angelina Jolie who played Maleficent- my FAVORITE Disney villain who discovers the true love of friendship!
Pick a Jennifer: Lawrence, Aniston or Lopez? Jennifer Lopez, DUH!
Describe your class: How you feel when it’s your birthday, on a Friday, with your best friends, and you just got paid with an unexpected bonus….READY.TO.PARTY!
Why TEAMride? After a full day of work my favorite thing to do is have a dance party on a bike with a room full of awesome people!
How do you want to feel when you’re 100 years old? I always dress up as a 100 year old lady on the 100th day of school and make sure to play the “whip nae nae” song. So I think I’ve prepared my 100 year old self- a hip hoppin granny!
What’s the most useful thing you own? My amp on wheels! I can bring a dance party everywhere I go. It always makes a guest appearance at Run to Feed the Hungry!
If you were a character added to a TV show, which show would you join? I’m fascinated by fun and learning so Blue’s Clues, Sesame Street, or any other children’s learning show.
What was the best invention in the last 50 years? Crocs, they actually saved my life. If you want to hear the story come ask me after class. #crocssavedmylife
What is one thing you ALWAYS have in your pantry? To be honest, sour patch kids and la croix.
Would you rather time travel to the past or the future? The past! I’d go straight to Raidel High and dance with John Travolta and all the T-Birds from Grease!
